Project Overview
As part of a major refurbishment at Exchange House, the client required a new climate-control system for a 12-desk office, meeting rooms, and a client reception. The existing equipment was noisy and inefficient, and the works had to be completed within a three-week construction window without disrupting neighbouring offices.
Our Approach
RAM Air Conditioning carried out a full site survey and proposed a Daikin multi-split system with individual room controllers and occupancy sensors. Working closely with the main contractor, we phased the installation around other trades, completing noisy work out of hours and ensuring all containment was colour-matched to the new ceiling grid. Detailed commissioning records and F-Gas certification were provided at handover.
Results
The client achieved consistent temperature across the workspace and a measurable reduction in electricity consumption. Staff feedback highlighted the improvement in comfort and noise levels. RAM now provides scheduled maintenance twice yearly under a service agreement.
